A Commitment to safety

The CR-V features a full range of Honda's advanced safety technologies for enhanced peace of mind. Active safety technologies like VSA are designed to help the driver avert a collision, while passive safety technologies like airbags are designed to help mitigate injuries in the event of a collision. The Advanced Compatibility Engineering body structure is a Honda-exclusive passive safety technology that uses a network of connected structural elements to help distribute frontal crash energy more evenly throughout the front of the vehicle. It is designed to enhance occupant protection while mitigating damage to other vehicles.

As a compact crossover, the CR-V sits one segment below the mid-size Pilot SUV in the Honda lineup--and the Pilot itself is smaller than the Odyssey minivan. But the CR-V delivers on the "utility" part of the title, offering more interior space and hauling capability for people and their possessions than the Civic, even than the Accord. It's the epitome of compact crossover versatility and space efficiency.

Powerful Stable Performance

Wherever you go in your CR-V, you'll have fun getting there. The 2.4-liter DOHC i-VTEC engine offers more power and torque than before for highly satisfying performance. New Real Time All-Wheel Drive (AWD) with Intelligent Control Systemâ„¢ sends torque to the rear wheels when it senses wheel slippage to provide extra traction on unpaved or slippery road surfaces. Coordinating with Real Time AWD, Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) helps stabilize vehicle dynamics in a wide range of driving situations.
